Our client, a well-established boutique law firm in Raleigh, known for our personalized approach and commitment to client advocacy. Our team is expanding, and we’re seeking a seasoned Personal Injury Paralegal to join us in delivering exceptional legal support and case management.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate will bring 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a strong understanding of NC court procedures and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. You’ll work closely with attorneys to manage cases from intake through settlement or trial, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents
- Manage case files, medical records, and client communications
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, and trial preparation
- Assist with settlement negotiations and lien resolution
- Maintain accurate calendaring and deadlines
- Support attorneys with trial prep and courtroom logistics
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of personal injury paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of NC state court procedures
- Proficiency in legal software and case management systems
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
