Family Law Attorney - White Plains, NY - ONSITE

A respected family law practice is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney to join its team in White Plains, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is ready to step into an active caseload, appear regularly in court, and make an immediate impact within a collaborative and client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle family law and matrimonial matters from inception through resolution
• Represent clients in divorce, custody, visitation, child support, and related family law proceedings
• Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal guidance
• Prepare pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
• Appear in court hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials as needed
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients throughout the litigation process
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy and developments
• Manage an active caseload while meeting deadlines and billable expectations

Requirements:

• 5 years of family law and/or matrimonial law experience
• Admission to practice law in New York
• Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills
• Experience independently handling divorce and custody matters
• Ability to manage cases with minimal supervision
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Client-focused approach with a high level of professionalism

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Fully Onsite
• Location: White Plains, NY
• Compensation: Competitive base salary bonus / benefits
• Benefits: Health Insurance, 401(k), 15 PTO days, and a floating holiday
• Billable Requirement: 1,600 hours annually
• Reporting Structure: Reports directly to a senior family law attorney
