Armed Security Officer - Part Time

You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by observing and reporting any suspicious activities, controlling access points, and monitoring surveillance systems. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and visitors- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter security threats- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed- Operate surveillance equipment and report any unusual activities or incidents- Maintain detailed records of all security-related incidents- Collaborate and communicate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees and assets- Conduct safety and security inspections to identify potential risks and hazards- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with customer inquiries and requests- Conduct training and drills for emergency procedures with other staff members Requirements: - Current Guard Card- Current Exposed Firearm Permit- High school diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented by relevant security training and certifications- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in security services, law enforcement, or military- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to remain calm and composed during high-stress situations- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail- Basic knowledge of security and safety protocols- Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays- Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, or run for long periods of time- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Why Work with Us? At SR Global Security, we value our employees and understand that they are the key to our success.
