Job Description:

The Project Manager works in the office and in the field to help ensure efficient production, maintain timelines, client satisfaction and quality control. The position is supported by the project management team, Foreman/Master Carpenters and Office Manager.  

Required Qualifications:             

A Degree in a related field such as construction management, building science, architecture or engineering or at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator in high end residential construction.

• Ability to read and understand architectural plans & details
• Ability to use PDF take-off software to aid in estimating
• Experience with Microsoft, Adobe, Auto Cad, Project Management Software
• Superior knowledge of construction methods and techniques, including framing and structural components.
• Strong working knowledge of related building trades, building materials, assemblies, tools and operational machinery
• Detail and deadline oriented.
• Ability to problem solve and seek solutions.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Estimating

• Project Management
• Review project estimates and work to insure project stays within budget
• Determine the priorities for work to be done
• Coordinate jobsite/project priorities with the site super.
• Problem solve
• Serve as primary contact for project-related issues that employees, vendors or subcontractors may have
• Attend all company/client/sub-contract meetings
• Maintain project specifications, drawings and documents using on-line project management software
• Work to ensure all company policies, safety standards, OSHA standards and best practices are followed.
• Must be able to recognize quality construction methods and strive to maintain the highest quality throughout a project.

Job Type:            Full-time, 40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Salary:                 $92,000.00 - $105,000.00

Required Licenses/Certifications:

- Valid RI Driver’s License with a clean record

- DOT Med Card (must be able to obtain upon hire)
