What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer & Motion Design Intern position at squirro?
We are looking for a motivated Videographer & Motion Design Intern to join our Marketing team in Zurich.
You will take full ownership of video projects: from the initial brief to concept development, recording setup, filming, editing, and final delivery. You’ll work on a variety of formats including brand videos, event coverage, customer testimonials, product visuals, and social media clips. This role is ideal for someone creative, proactive, and eager to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced B2B tech environment.
What You’ll Do
- Work with the marketing team to develop concepts and scripts from briefs
- Set up recording environments (lighting, audio, framing) for internal and external shoots
- Record high-quality footage for brand, event, and testimonial videos
- Edit videos for multiple channels (web, social, presentations, campaigns)
- Create motion graphics and animations that support our brand identity
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer teams to gather stories and visual assets
- Help with other design-related tasks when needed
Who You Are
- Student or recent graduate in film, media production, design, or a related field
- Strong interest in videography, editing, and visual storytelling
- Good command of Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
- Bonus: experience with Figma or Canva for simple designs and social adaptations
- Motion design/animation skills (e.g., intros, transitions, lower-thirds)
- English fluency is required; German is an advantage
- Portfolio or examples of previous video or motion work are highly required
