Duties
- Assist with event setup, teardown, and ongoing management at various venues, ensuring all activities run seamlessly.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and guiding visitors through events or facilities.
- Support safety procedures by performing manual handling tasks, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems for ticketing, merchandise sales, or food services.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve conflicts efficiently to maintain a positive atmosphere for all attendees.
- Support outdoor work activities such as heavy lifting, equipment setup, and maintaining cleanliness of the venue area.
- Engage in public speaking or guiding groups during tours or events to enhance visitor experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures across all tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience working with children or in a resort setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of retail sales, cash handling, and POS systems enhances your ability to serve guests effectively.
- Experience with outdoor work environments or outdoor activity supervision is beneficial.
- Lifeguard certification or lifeguard experience is advantageous for roles involving water safety.
- Background in food service or theater experience can contribute to versatile performance in various roles.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in public speaking are essential for engaging with guests and team members alike.
