Duties
- Assist with lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
- Support landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to enhance plant health and aesthetics.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, edging, and installing landscape features.
- Perform irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas.
- Support equipment maintenance and basic repairs to ensure tools and machinery are in optimal condition.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping.
- Experience or interest in lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, or horticulture is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
- Strong attention to safety procedures when handling tools and machinery.
- Prior experience with irrigation systems or hardscape installation is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
