Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Toast systems.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.
- Assist with hosting duties as needed, including managing reservations through OpenTable.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclubs.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order management.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
