Square Medical Group’s (“Square” or “SMG”) mission is to deliver enduring, material improvements in both clinical and wellness outcomes to patients addressing co-occurring challenges with substance use disorder (SUD) and behavioral health (BH). We do this through delivering a specialized continuum of outpatient care of 1,000 units/week to a population of 5,000 across Massachusetts: medication management, in-person and virtual intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs (IOP/PHP), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), in-house laboratory services, as well as three levels of housing (i.e. Medicaid reimbursed Co-Occurring Recovery Residences, self-pay-based sober homes, and state-sponsored low threshold housing).

Position Summary: Square Medical Group is looking for an energized and experienced Recovery Support Specialists Supervisor to join our teams to build an exciting new co-occurring enhanced Residential Rehabilitation Services (COE-RRS) program in our Weymouth location !

The program is a new model, 24-bed program providing a recovery home for female adults offering an extended stay and more robust staffing for residents with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders in a beautiful rehabilitated Victorian building.

As Recovery Support Specialist Supervisor, you are required to be highly organized with the ability to lead your team while responsibly providing ongoing leadership and management of Recovery Support Specialists including training and scheduling. Working closely with our Program Director, Clinical Director, Nurse Manager as part of the program management team to manage and monitor program development while integrating new residents into the River House community. This position is Monday - Friday with schedule flexibility required. Members of leadership will be part of the on-call rotation schedule with possible weekends that would count as part of 40-hour week. Compensation will be based on experience.

Qualifications & Education:

  • Minimum high school diploma and 2-years experience in managerial position.
  • At least two years’ experience working with adults who have a mental health, substance use, addictive and co-occurring disorders.
  • Previous supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Other requirements include proficiency in the MS Office Suite, strong organizational skills and superb communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a member of a professional team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in multi-cultural settings with diverse client populations.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Core Competencies as identified by the employee’s assigned department.
  • CPR certified required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and submit a copy of satisfactory record of driving from the state of residence of registry of motor vehicles.
  • Must complete MA and ADP Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) process.
  • Must have computer literacy as related to the requirements of the position.
  • Ability to respond to program needs in urgent situations.
  • Ability to maintain calm and difficult scenarios.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides ongoing recovery-oriented support to residents.
  • Works with RSS staff to engage residents in menu planning, food shopping, cooking, preparing meals and clean-up.
  • Assists RSS staff in providing transportation to residents for medical appointments, job interviews and other activities related to resident’s individual goals. , etc.
  • Supports RSS staff in supporting residents’ engagement in daily house chores, including providing training in accomplishing a specific chore.
  • Organize and support RSS staff in completing UAs and room searches.
  • Work with clinical staff to provide group and milieu treatment.
  • Assists clinicians, care coordinators and medical and nursing staff to provide services to residents.
  • Work collaboratively with persons served to understand how addiction and/or substance abuse impact all areas of life.
  • Provides accurate and timely documentation, as required by program.
  • Position does require flexibility to support RSS team when shifts need help.
  • Reports to the Program Director on a daily basis to seek guidance, supervision and support.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to speak, hear, walk, stand, climb stairs, write, type, and lift up to 35lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
