Residential Remodeling Finish Carpenter

Square Level Plumb is looking for full-time experienced finished carpenter to work on remodels projects in Contra Costa county area. Project types include bathroom, kitchen, full home remodels and repairs.

If you are the candidate we are looking for, you will be:

Knowledgeable of the Trades- Able to complete projects from rough-in to finish trim
Knowledgeable of the Building Codes- Able to complete tasks correctly
Methodical- Able to arrange and implement tasks in an orderly manner
Detailed- Able to identify details, and follow through with their implementation
Efficient- Able to quickly and safely complete tasks
Driven- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
Curious- Eager to learn and take on new challenges
Strong communicator- Able to communicate well with clients, vendors and work with a variety of personality types in the field.

Responsible and trustworthy to complete tasks independently or with crews

Skills required:

• Finish Carpentry- door installation, cabinet installation, window installation, crown molding, baseboards, casings, faux ceilings, custom fireplace mantles

Also having skills in some of the areas:

• Rough Carpentry- framing, window/door install, fencing, siding, roof framing/sheathing
• Drywall- Hang, tape, mud, skim, float, smooth wall, skip trowel, spray textures (orange peel, and knock down)
• Painting- Prep, Spray, Roll, Brush. Both interior and exterior painting.

Other Trade knowledge is a plus!

The following experience is necessary:

- 5 to 10 years experience in the trades

- Must have reliable transportation (truck preferred).
- Must have own tools.
