Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation.
- Perform glass installation, framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation with attention to detail.
- Conduct metal stud framing, door hanging, lock installation, and caulking to secure fixtures properly.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for custom fabrication or reinforcement tasks.
- Handle heavy lifting safely while managing construction site logistics and adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, electrical work, and other related construction tasks to ensure seamless project completion.
Skills
- Proficiency in glass installation, store front door ( a must ) metal stud framing, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinet installation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with construction site operations, remodeling projects, carpentry (including trim carpentry), and locksmithing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards.
- Knowledge of electrical systems relevant to window and door hardware or related fixtures is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in maintenance person tasks, remodeling projects, and electrical work.
