Job Title: Household Manager/Nanny

Location: Harmony, New Jersey/ Upper Black Eddy, PA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to serve as a Household Manager/Nanny. The candidate should be comfortable with dealing with young children and a large German Shepherd. The dog is super sweet and well trained. She loves to be outside and play fetch on the yard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various household tasks, including but not limited to, driving, shopping, cleaning, laundry, light food prep, childcare for one 6 year old, home work help, pet care for a dog, organizing, coordinating activities and appointments, booking and organizing trips, and running various errands. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Car Full Driver's License will be required for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean the home and maintain its overall organization and appearance.
• Manage household tasks, including organizing schedules and running errands.
• Drive the child as needed, including to appointments, activities, and events.
• Shop for groceries, household supplies, and other necessary items.
• Do laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing and linens.
• Prepare light meals and snacks as needed.
• Provide childcare for a 6 year old and engage in age-appropriate activities.
• Provide pet care for a dog, including feeding, walking and cleaning.
• Organize the child’s area of the home.
• Coordinate activities and appointments for the child including scheduling and reminders.
• Plan events.
• Maintain all household inventory: keeping house stocked with food and necessary items.
• Ensure child’s safety at all times, indoors and outdoors.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend and being able to lift up to 35lb.
• Good communication skills include the ability to listen carefully and ask the right questions to gain clarification.
• Integrity including honesty and high ethical standards.
• Reliability including good time-keeping.
• High work standards including the ability to meet performance standards without supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and strong attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Experience in childcare and pet care.
• Flexible schedule, willing to work weekends or evenings occasionally.
• Legally able to work in the US and in Harmony, New Jersey/ Upper Black Eddy, PA.
