Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening using advanced tools and techniques.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to secure sheet metal and repair structural components effectively.
- Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve smooth, flawless finishes that match factory colors.
- Repair or replace auto glass, ensuring proper sealing and alignment for safety and aesthetics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to shape, cut, and assemble vehicle parts with precision.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as sanding, detailing, and finishing to restore vehicles to showroom quality.
- Collaborate with team members on auto estimating and customer service to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Lift heavy parts or vehicles safely during repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, auto painting, and auto restoration techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including auto glass installation and vehicle maintenance.
- Experience with auto estimating software and customer service interactions is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and heavy lifting procedures.
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards, safety protocols, and quality control processes.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
