Pay: $36/hr-$65/hr, DOE

A leading Global Biotech Company is seeking a mechanical engineer with an educational and/or professional background in mechanical and/or process engineering to support the development of consumable fluidic devices.
Responsibilities:
- Flowcell manufacturing, process development, and assembly.
- Facilitate senior engineers in SolidWorks design.
- Dimensional and mechanical measurements, including data analysis and reporting.
- Surface metrology and characterization.
- Component testing, quality checks, and visual inspection.
- Sample preparation for external analysis.
- Component and subcomponent inventory management; shipping preparation and receiving.
- Support multiple engineering activities in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
- 0-2 years of professional experience required.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or equivalent.
- Hands-on lab experience, microfabrication, microfluidics and materials knowledge or experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with metrology or microscopy equipment (preferred).
