Quality Inspector - Electromechanical - GO

Key Responsibilities:

• Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g., nickel plating)
• In-process and final inspection of critical features such as witness inspection
• Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages
• Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects
• Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent
• Audit and validate the execution to the inspection plan
• Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress, equipment quality performance of the facility, delivery details by Data Center site
• Conduct periodic quality audits of the supplier’s factory, provide reports of results
• Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance
• Ensuring supplier’s quality control system document the findings
• Provide customer witness for test scripts, including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for all equipment. Validate equipment is acceptable with no issues and compliance to the Level 1 commissioning process (Red/Orange tags) before shipment to the Data Center
• Be the on-site support representing Google
• Inspection of rivets and mechanical assembly
• Ability to read diagram for wiring assembly
  
  
  
  

Required Qualifcations:

• Experience with inspecting electromechanical components preferably cooling systems
• Welding experience and inspection techniques of weld integrity
• 5 years professional experience OR 3 years with ASME or CWI certification
