What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)
While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:
- Independently and proactively completes all facets associated with tradeshows, roadshows and other customer events, including strategic planning; tactical execution and coordination of logistics; vendor procurement and management; contract negotiation; detailed budgeting and forecasting; coordination of event materials; post-event reporting; and other services as required.
- Work closely with channel partners to provide displays, literature, etc. for regional events.
- Organize and lead large customer events and trade shows.
- Manage virtual customer webinars, including scheduling, planning, presenter coordination, event execution and performance tracking.
- Organizes and maintains the marketing events calendar.
- Facilitates efforts to brainstorm, research, design, order, and maintain inventory of promotional assets including equipment, merchandise, collateral, etc.
- Other marketing activities as required

Required Experience
- Experience with Teams Webinar, email and digital marketing platforms
- 2 years’ experience with event planning, trade shows or corporate events is preferred.
- Detail oriented, with solid organizational, problem solving, and administrative skills.
- High energy and strong desire to continue to learn, grow and contribute
- Extensive project management, organization and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and highly productive with little hands-on supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work in a large, matrix organization
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required.
- Onsite office environment
- Hybrid work arrangement possible after 90 days
- Up to 25% travel
