I’ve spent the last 20 years building businesses, designing, creating, working with clients, and chasing new ideas.

Now I’m looking for someone who understands today’s creator world and wants to help me take all of that experience and turn it into great content, a real audience, and new opportunities.

In other words:

I know my business. You know how the internet works. Let’s build something.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reels, Shorts, creators, video, storytelling, trends, and figuring out what actually gets people to stop scrolling.

You’ll work directly with me to build and grow my personal and business brands from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Help develop our content and social media strategy
• Set up and manage social channels
• Come up with video ideas, hooks, topics, and recurring content
• Record video and help direct me on camera
• Edit short-form and long-form content
• Add captions, graphics, music, B-roll, and supporting visuals
• Create thumbnails, titles, captions, and posts
• Turn longer conversations into multiple pieces of content
• Publish and schedule content across platforms
• Manage comments, messages, and community interaction
• Help grow followers, engagement, reach, and relationships
• Identify collaborations, partnerships, podcasts, and promotional opportunities
• Track what performs and continually improve what we're doing
• Help capture projects, behind-the-scenes moments, ideas, stories, and everyday opportunities for content
• Experiment with new platforms, AI tools, creator tools, and technology

Most importantly, I want someone who will eventually interrupt me and say:

“Wait. Say that again. That’s the video.”

Who We're Looking For

You do not need 10 years of professional marketing experience.

You might be early in your career.

You might have grown your own account, helped a local business, created videos for friends, run a YouTube channel, edited TikToks, built a community, or simply understand social media extremely well.

What matters is that you:

• Understand what people actually watch online
• Have good creative instincts
• Know your way around video and social platforms
• Are comfortable learning new tools
• Follow creator culture and digital trends
• Can tell when something feels authentic versus overly corporate
• Aren’t afraid to give creative direction
• Are organized, dependable, and able to take initiative
• Want to learn, experiment, and grow

You should be comfortable saying:

“That opening is too slow.”

“We should turn that into five videos.”

“People keep asking this in the comments — let’s answer it.”

Why This Could Be Different

This isn't a job where you'll spend your day scheduling someone else's pre-written corporate posts.

You'll be helping build the entire thing.

You'll work directly with an experienced entrepreneur and creative professional and get exposure to business, marketing, design, AI, technology, clients, new ventures, and everything happening behind the scenes.

As the audience and business grow, this role can grow into leading content strategy, production, partnerships, community, campaigns, and eventually a larger creative team.

For the right long-term person, there is also potential for increased responsibility, compensation, and earned equity based on contribution and mutually agreed-upon milestones.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
