Role Description This full-time Regional Sales Manager role is a hybrid position based in Michigan City, IN, with some flexibility for work from home. The Regional Sales Manager will manage and grow sales within an assigned territory, building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and end-users. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, presenting technical solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and contracts, and forecasting sales. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams such as engineering, operations, and customer service to ensure effective delivery of products and solutions. The Regional Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, monitor competitor activity, and contribute to regional sales strategies and performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in regional or territory sales management within industrial, manufacturing, or fluid-handling industries.
- Strong skills in business development, account management, and customer relationship building.
- Ability to understand technical products and applications, and to translate them into value-based solutions for customers.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results and continuous improvement.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing priorities both onsite and remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
