Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, lighting, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain the property’s appearance and structural integrity.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs accurately.
- Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose problems effectively.
- Lead facilities maintenance initiatives that enhance operational efficiency while providing excellent customer service to guests and staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical knowledge with hands-on experience working with electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting tools like ohmmeters.
- Mechanical skills including welding, plumbing repairs, HVAC servicing, and residential painting.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their integration into building systems.
- Ability to read technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams or projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally.
