What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public School Clinician - Lyman Moore Middle School position at Spurwink Services?
In this role, Spurwink Clinicians provide individual and family therapy in a school setting. Home and community-based sessions are also offered as needed. This position is year-round and is located at Lyman Moore Middle School, grades 6-8.
Spurwink prioritizes quality supervision for clinicians, using a blend of individual and group formats to meet the licensing requirements and professional development needs. Access to training of evidence-based treatment modalities is part of the Spurwink experience. A generous allowance is provided for therapy supplies, external trainings, and license reimbursement.
DUTIES:
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and providing individual and family therapy.
- Provide updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
All applicants must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling, and a current Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC). Fully licensed strongly preferred.
