Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, ovens, and grills.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels of cooking supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the restaurant environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and dietary department standards is an asset.
- Familiarity with menu planning and preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to use kitchen tools effectively, including knives and other culinary equipment.
