Warehouse Technician (temporary ~ 4 week assignment)
Job Responsibilities:
The temporary Warehouse Technician will play a critical role in supporting the setup and relocation of materials, equipment, and supplies into a new warehouse facility. Physical, hands-on labor is a key requirement for success in this temporary position.
- Performs a variety of warehousing duties.
- Ability to lift, pull items from shelves, remove material, GFP, GFE and more from shelves and tables, moving boxes, equipment and such to establish a warehouse.
- Ability to use of hand and electric power tools.
- Verifies materials against records, reports discrepancies, reports obvious damage, and routes materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or distribution.
- Stores, stacks, and palletizes materials IAW SSA SOPs. Inventories, examines, and reports deterioration and damage.
- Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment, unloads and places into a new facility.
- May direct or coordinate activities of Order Fillers, Shipping Packers, or Material Handling Laborers.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.

Operate hand trucks or power trucks, forklifts (a plus), pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

Organize and maintain warehouse space for efficient material storage and retrieval.

Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety, security, and quality standards.

Support logistics activities including loading/unloading trucks and scheduling shipments.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times.

Track and report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
- Adhere to the company's policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.

1 years of warehouse, logistics, or supply chain experience preferred.

Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment (certification preferred).

Ability to lift up to 50-70 pounds and perform physical labor.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
