Sanitation Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our dynamic team working third shift. Duties

• Perform industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct routine sanitation of production areas, machinery, and work surfaces in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
• Utilize proper respiratory protection when working with hazardous chemicals or in environments requiring respiratory safety measures.
• Maintain cleanliness in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings through janitorial and commercial cleaning techniques.
• Follow established protocols for chemical handling safety procedures to prevent contamination or accidents.
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual tasks required for moving supplies or cleaning equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, industrial sanitation, or custodial roles within manufacturing, food processing, or warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of chemical agent handling, safety procedures, and proper use of PPE and respiratory protection equipment.
• Familiarity with GMP standards and sanitation protocols specific to food production or manufacturing industries.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout shifts.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is highly preferred; experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
