Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Math Tutor based in Sarasota. The successful candidate will work with students to provide high-quality tutoring in mathematics, assisting with topics such as algebra and other related areas. Some work may be conducted remotely, while other responsibilities require in-person sessions in Sarasota, FL. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging tutoring sessions, and providing support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Qualifications
This is a hybrid remote tutoring position. Tutors are required to work on-site at our Sarasota office once per week, with arrival no later than 5:00 PM on in-office days. All other workdays may be completed remotely from home.
Tutors may create their own availability within our operating hours of 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
Minimum Position Requirements:
Must reside in Sarasota (or close)
Candidates must be able to tutor math, specifically Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Applicants who are unable to provide support in all three subject areas will not be considered for an interview.
