Responsibilities
- Support Digital Enterprise product data management and the Digital Thread framework in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Review and verify Logistics Product Data and Digital System Models for completeness and accuracy.
- Participate in UAS Program of Record (PoR) meetings and reviews; assist in evaluating contractor proposals.
- Analyze Engineering Change Proposals, Modification Work Orders, and waiver/deviation requests for logistics impacts.
- Plan, manage, and support budgeting and acquisition of IPS technical data for lifecycle product support.
- Assess technical data (e.g., provisioning, maintenance procedures) to ensure logistics effectiveness.
- Evaluate engineering source data to develop practical maintenance and support procedures.
- Analyze logistics source data to validate operator and maintenance tasks, troubleshooting data, and test procedures.
- Conduct Logistics Support Analyses (LSA) in accordance with military standards and specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical publications including IETMs, Operator Manuals, and Maintenance Work Requirements.
- Provide recommendations on data rights and the use of integrated logistics support deliverables.
- Convert and maintain documents in XML format using tools like Arbortext; update and format graphics.
- Coordinate with logistics stakeholders to align technical data requirements and publication updates.
- Participate in validation/verification of UAS technical publications and respond to DA Form 2028 inputs.
- Analyze initial and follow-on provisioning data and ensure accurate provisioning records and technical manual updates.
- Manage NSN assignments, SMR coding, and data integration for spare/repair parts in logistics systems.
- Support training program development, sustainment, and documentation for TADSS and NET.
- Develop IMI and operator/maintainer courseware; assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Provide engineering support for UAS system design, sustainment, and modular open systems implementation.
- Support efforts in cybersecurity, aircraft survivability, and mission systems architecture.
- Provide IT system support including analysis of software/hardware baselines and lifecycle documentation.
- Participate in engineering reviews, design reviews, and logistics demonstrations; support software and IT assessments.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned taskers and manage deliverable submissions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (from an accredited engineering program) or in a related Scientific discipline (from an accredited institution).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant job-related experience gained after earning the qualifying degree.
- Must be able to work independently with general guidance from senior-level engineers/scientists.
- Experience supporting defense acquisition programs or UAS platforms preferred.
