Job Title: Workplace Experience AmbassadorReports To: The Workplace Experience Ambassador will report to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership.Job Overview:In this role, the individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining an exceptional and hospitable environment for Elliott's Conference Center floor through visitor management, conference center booking and the execution of concierge services. With hospitality at the forefront, this role will interact with all levels of Elliott Management and their guests/partners and act as a guide and point of reference and will be knowledgeable on a range of guest and employee needs.Role & ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience – Register guests with building security; Provides a gracious arrival experience for all colleagues and guests, ensuring they feel welcome, and their needs are taken care of; Handle all guests with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; Delivers world-class experiences that will leave a lasting, positive first impressionHospitality - Captures individual preferences of colleagues and guests for future visits and thinks creatively of ways to accommodate any special requestsMeeting management – Ensure schedule conflicts are resolved in a timely fashion; Troubleshoot and execute problem solving techniques; Coordinate and serve as a partner to the Administrative Assistants to ensure all guests and meetings are handled professionally and according to specific instructionsMeeting support – Coordinate meeting catering, assist with employee lunch orders, set up china and flatware and other in-room services, ensure AV is appropriately working, ensure rooms are stocked with supplies, fully organize rooms/chairs before and chairs after meetingsFacilities - Report maintenance needs for resolution and assist with coordination of work, as needed; Escalate maintenance emergencies; Follow through to ensure prioritization and resolution; Address any pantry needs with on-site pantry attendant; Address any cleaning needs/support with the on-site day matronAdministrative – Promptly and professionally answer main company line and ensure calls and messages are directed appropriately; Assist with reporting and other projects/tasks as assignedCross train floater coverage for backup supportQualificationsBachelor's degree2 years professional experience as a Receptionist/Hospitality Associate, preferably in a mid to large-sized organizationProven track record of providing stellar support, strong sense of customer serviceHighly professional and positive presence and demeanorDependable and punctualMicrosoft Office ApplicationsSchedule flexibilityAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgementAttention to detail and accuracyMaintain composure under pressureMaintain confidentiality related to business mattersDemonstrates ability to connect, collaborate and communicate effectivelyPerformance mindset – both "do" job and "improve" jobPhysical Demands:Approximately 50% of the time this position requires the below physical demands. Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs. Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time. Manual dexterity is required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.). Ability to communicate and decern information effectively with onsite staff using vision, hearing, and oral/written comprehension. Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.
