Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role. The Project Manager will oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of heavy construction and bridge projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating internal teams and subcontractors, managing project documentation, tracking progress, and proactively addressing risks, delays, and design issues. The role involves close collaboration with clients, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and achieve project goals. The Project Manager will also support procurement and logistics, lead regular project meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement of construction processes and project delivery.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated project leadership skills, including experience in Project Management for construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with Expediting and working as an Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Background in Inspection activities related to construction quality, safety, and contract compliance.
- Proficiency in Logistics Management, including coordination of suppliers, deliveries, and site resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil or transportation construction, contracts, schedules, and cost control.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) is preferred.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical business practices, with the ability to work on site in varying field conditions.
