Quality Control Coordinator

As one of the nation's premier wall and ceiling specialty contractors, Precision Walls, Inc. (PWI) offers you an opportunity to join our team. Make a difference and promote the progress of construction! We are seeking an experience Quality Control Coordinator! We seek supervisors of workforce that can preplan, organize, track and audit day to day field operations of workers and hours in commercial drywall systems on-site.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Check layout (make sure they are using PWI's Layout Procedure).
• Check to make sure walls are straight, plumb and square.
• Make sure all hollow metal door frames are installed correctly.
• Checks soffits to ensure they are at the right heigh.
• Check window openings.
• Check bathroom walls to make sure no pipes are sticking out.
• Check all walls with blocking and make sure the blocking is installed correctly.
• Check insulation to make sure it is installed correctly.
• Check all finishing to make sure it is installed correctly.
• Check all finishing to make sure it is getting done correctly.
• Check that all corner beads are straight.
• Check drywall joints and check for control joints.
• If we are doing the acoustical ceiling and tile, check elevations.
• Make sure all wall angles are installed correctly.
• For Superwall - check all panels to make sure they are installed correctly.
• Use quality control list too inspect all jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements / Qualifications

• Specific Skills: Excellent Interpersonal Communication skills are needed.
• Experience in the commercial construction trade.
