This individual would participate in designing solutions, planning, and executing new implementations, working out new product integration and recommending LAN/WAN improvements.

Spry Squared is seeking a strong Network Engineer to manage, coordinate, and perform many aspects of network analysis of needs and services and participates in operations and administration of the LAN/WAN infrastructure. This individual would participate in designing solutions, planning, and executing new implementations, working out new product integration and recommending LAN/WAN improvements.
- Proactively identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues on customer networks.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues. Analyze computer and network environment to optimize network performance, security, and testing functionality.
- Cloud networking and support.
- Deploy and maintain environments including large enterprise campus LAN & WAN, VOIP, remote access, and highly available data center networks.
- Analyze and provide recommendations for the continuous security improvement of the network.
- Expert knowledge of Firewalls, intrusion detection, network access control and other network security technologies.
- Present and articulate advanced product features, benefits, and overall product solutions.
- Produce solutions to fulfill customer needs within budget and schedule constraints.
- Work directly with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Experience with primary network topologies, LANs, WANs and other common network standards.
- Familiarity with networking technologies including router/switch administration, ethernet and wireless networking and related protocols, hardware installation and support, system security techniques and firewall administration, basic database management.
- Experience with designing, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure technology.
- Experience supporting a switched or routed network environment.
- Experience with installation, configuration, problem resolution and maintenance of all network resources, systems and other IT-related technologies.

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM SECURITY CLEARANCE OF TS with CI Poly
- This is an onsite role, no remote work
- Knowledge of network concepts, architecture, operations, and tools
- Minimum DOD 8140/ DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (examples include: A CE, CCNA-Security, Security , Network CE, CISSP, CASP, or SSCP)
- BS/MS degree in a technical field, or equivalent military or career experience
- 7 years of Network Administration/Engineering experience
- Experience in professional services, technical consulting, or network engineering/operations preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, drive IT projects forward in large organizations, and translate technical features into tangible customer business benefits
- Self-motivated and capable of high performance under minimal supervision
- Excellent business writing and presentation skills
- Professionalism appropriate for working with Fortune 500 clients
