Residential Property Caretaker

Spruce Property Care looks after high-end second homes across the Gallatin Valley, Livingston, and Paradise Valley. Our clients trust us completely with properties they love — and we take that seriously.

We're hiring someone to join our small field team. This is a full-time role where no two days look exactly the same. You might be meeting with a client about their landscaping plan in the morning, coordinating a plumber in the afternoon, and wrapping up the day catching a propane issue before it becomes a problem for a homeowner who's 1,000 miles away.

What the job actually looks like:

• Regular property checks with thorough photo documentation
• Coordinating and overseeing vendors
• Handling whatever comes up — concierge tasks, walkthroughs, minor repairs, seasonal prep
• Communicating clearly with our operations team so nothing falls through the cracks

What we're looking for:

• Someone who notices things and acts on them without being asked
• Common sense and good judgment in situations that aren't in any manual
• Comfortable working independently and representing our company in front of clients
• Experience with home systems — HVAC basics, plumbing, propane, irrigation — is a plus
• Property management or caretaking experience is a plus but not required
• Clean driving record
