Duties
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living.
- Support clients in developing life skills.
- Provide transportation assistance using personal vehicles for appointments, community outings, or errands
- Collect data on client progress and service outcomes to inform care plans and reporting requirements.
- Monitor clients’ safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent support and effective care strategies
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, or developmental disabilities is highly preferred
- Knowledge of special education principles.
- Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely and confidently for client transportation purposes
- Background in home & community care or social services supporting individuals with cognitive disabilities
- Strong communication skills.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required.
- Demonstrated caregiving ability with patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for personal transportation assistance
- Ability to document observations accurately and maintain detailed client records in compliance with privacy standards

Pay: $16.57 - $19.88 per hour
