What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Analyst position at Sprouts Farmers Market?
Treasury Operations Analyst proactively and creatively manages reconciliations, support the banking needs of our stores and business, and serve as a liaison to bank related inquiries while remaining consistent with Sprouts Farmers Market’s policies, procedures and philosophies.
The position reports into our Store Support Office located in Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid schedule in office Tuesday-Thursday.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Primary purpose of the role includes store sales auditing, daily store cash office process completion/validation, reconciliation maintenance, general analytical application, and problem solving.
- General store support inquiry responses and issue resolutions.
- Identification, research, and recovery of any cash office and sales-to-settlement reconciliation variances.
- Act as an internal banking consultant supporting the cash and banking needs of the businesses.
- Serve as a liaison to bank related inquiries for cash transactions, change orders or cash over/short inquiries.
- Review comments related to store level cash over/short and make modifications to daily sales reports.
- Research and resolve issues for internal business partners and external vendors.
- Investigate, research and resolve miscellaneous requests and inquiries received.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
- Prior finance, accounting and/or bookkeeping experience in a retail environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Demonstrated critical thinker with excellent organizational skills
- Working knowledge of different banking details and requirements
- Ability to work in an office environment 3 or more days per week
