Supply Chain Summer Intern

Sprouts is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Summer Interns to join our team for a hands-on learning experience. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain valuable industry knowledge, work on real projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain operations. The intern will support day-to-day activities, including data analysis, process improvement, and coordination across various departments such as procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand planning.

• Collaborate with the replenishment team to manage purchase orders, supplier communication, and tracking of deliveries.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
• Support transportation operations by helping to coordinate the movement of goods between suppliers, warehouses, and customers.
• Participate in demand planning activities, forecasting, and production scheduling.
• Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting of key performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance.
• Work with cross functional teams on various projects and initiatives aimed at improving the company’s supply chain processes and sustainability efforts.
• Participate in cross functional meetings to understand the end-to-end supply chain process.
• Help in the development and implementation of supply chain optimization projects.
• Prepare reports and presentations for management.

• Currently enrolled in sophomore or junior year and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program, majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and work with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
