What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Analyst - Supply Chain position at Sprouts Farmers Market?
Please note this position is based in our Phoenix, AZ Support Office. The Senior Analyst will serve as a key member of the Supply Chain Replenishment Operations team, providing advanced reporting and analytical support to optimize replenishment processes across both enterprise and store levels. This role requires a seasoned reporting analyst with the ability to design and deliver data-driven dashboards that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Overview of Responsibilities
· Requirements Gathering & Analysis
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements
o Provide end-to-end support for Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), from initial conception through to final delivery and sign-off
· Power BI Development
o Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
o Implement DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs to support business objectives
o Optimize Power BI performance and ensure data accuracy
· Data Modeling & Backend Understanding
o Work with data engineers to understand data architecture, ETL processes, and database structures
o Create and maintain semantic models for reporting
o Validate data sources and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
· Data Governance & Quality
o Strategizes with management team on replenishment reporting system enhancements and aids in developing business requirements for future system enhancements
o Perform data validation and quality checks before publishing reports
o Maintains integrity of numerous enterprise dashboards
· Stakeholder Communication
o Present insights and recommendations to business leaders
o Provide training and support for Power BI users across the organization
o Advocates for the value of analytics within the organization
Qualifications
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
· Minimum of three years of experience in operations, supply chain management, or an analytical role
· Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions
· Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
· Solid understanding of fundamental database structures and concepts
· Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite applications
· Proven ability to design, update, and deliver a wide range of reports and visual analytics
· Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional project teams
· Skilled in building effective relationships and communicating with stakeholders at all organizational levels
· Foundational knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management
