Job Summary
At Sprouts Cooking School, we are committed to providing the highest quality children’s cooking classes that enrich and inspire children and their families. Sprouts Cooking School is Indiana’s only dedicated cooking school for children. We feature cooking classes, camps and cooking-themed birthday parties for children ages 3-13. Our team members are energetic, organized and passionate about nurturing adventurous palates.
Responsibilities
- Creates a welcoming, comfortable, and exciting environment for all students and parents
- Prepares and organizes ingredients for class
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment
- Executes classroom setup and breakdown
- Ensures class begins and ends on time with all recipes completed
- Leads and maintains the flow of class by following the teaching rubric
- Monitors all students to ensure safety rules and expectations are being executed
- Controls the classroom with superior management skills
- Remains up to date on all product knowledge, recipes, and trainings
- Follows Sprouts standard operating procedures and policies
- Follows directions given by store manager or general manager
- Demonstrates a professional manner at all times
- Exhibits excellent customer satisfaction and interaction
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by managers
- Maintains allergen safety standards
Job Qualifications:
- Culinary interest or training preferred
- Fun, cheerful personality with a loud energetic voice
- Ability to follow directions clearly and efficiently
- Possess excellent basic math skills
Position Details:
- Hiring in our Carmel and Zionsville, IN stores
- Part-time evening, weekend and summer positions are available
- Growth within the company available

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
