Meteora is a fast-paced, highly collaborative restaurant with a strong focus on precision, communication, and consistency. The Expeditor plays a central role in service, working closely with the culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure each dish is executed, organized, and delivered to the dining room at the highest standard.
JOB DETAILS
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Coordinate the flow of dishes from the kitchen to the dining room throughout service
- Communicate clearly and efficiently with chefs, cooks, and the front-of-house team
- Ensure dishes are complete, accurate, properly garnished, and presented according to Meteora’s standards before leaving the kitchen
- Maintain awareness of table pacing, course progression, dietary restrictions, and special guest notes
- Organize and maintain a clean, efficient expo station before, during, and after service
- Assist with service preparation and other kitchen responsibilities as needed
- Work closely with specialty, local, and unique ingredients and become familiar with preparations that may be new or unfamiliar
- Live-fire cooking is a cornerstone of Meteora’s cuisine
- Shifts generally range from 8 to 10 hours and include weekends
- Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to remain composed during a fast-paced service are essential
- Previous fine-dining or high-volume restaurant experience is preferred
- Rate is $18.47 per hour plus tips
