Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional behavioral health services. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized behavior intervention plans aligned with client needs and goals.
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to track progress and inform adjustments to treatment strategies.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in ABA therapy.
- Perform intake evaluations and coordinate diagnostic evaluations for new clients, including medical documentation and medical records review.
- Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to promote consistency across environments.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of medical records and sensitive client information.
- Support clients in various settings such as home-based programs, schools, or clinic environments while applying behavioral health principles.
- Conduct behavioral health assessments for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and support autism spectrum disorders interventions.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to medical terminology, behavioral intervention techniques, and clinical supervision standards.
Experience
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Demonstrated expertise in data collection methods, functional assessments (including FBA), and behavior intervention planning.
- Prior experience conducting diagnostic evaluations or clinical assessments within special education or behavioral health settings.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Experience working in home-based behavioral programs or school environments is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement are critical for success in this role.
