Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional behavioral health services. As a BCBA, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans, utilizing evidence-based practices rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your expertise will directly support children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, to achieve meaningful progress and improve their quality of life. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral psychological assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized behavior intervention plans aligned with client needs and goals.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to track progress and inform adjustments to treatment strategies.
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior technicians and staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in ABA therapy.
  • Perform intake evaluations and coordinate diagnostic evaluations for new clients, including medical documentation and medical records review.
  • Communicate effectively with clients’ families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to promote consistency across environments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of medical records and sensitive client information.
  • Support clients in various settings such as home-based programs, schools, or clinic environments while applying behavioral health principles.
  • Conduct behavioral health assessments for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders and support autism spectrum disorders interventions.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to medical terminology, behavioral intervention techniques, and clinical supervision standards.

Experience

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data collection methods, functional assessments (including FBA), and behavior intervention planning.
  • Prior experience conducting diagnostic evaluations or clinical assessments within special education or behavioral health settings.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
  • Experience working in home-based behavioral programs or school environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and family engagement are critical for success in this role.
