Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This position requires you to perform various warehouse duties, such as sorting, loading, input, unloading, and receiving materials. Also, maintain inventory, organize stock, pack products, and shipping orders. Being keen on all-time details is a must, as you should evaluate products for defects and report damages as per the requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pull inventory to be shipped.

Prep and box the product to be shipped.

Use of computerized weigh count scales.

Following detailed instructions, pack and label the product for shipment.

General cleanliness of the warehouse.

Receive parts into the inventory system.

Assist in loading and unloading of trucks

Demonstrate organizational skills.

Adhere to safety practices.

Stand on your feet for up to 8-10 hours. Ability to lift to 60 lbs.

Must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbal and written.

Bilingual (Spanish speaking is a plus.)

Must-Have:

Driver’s License w/ clean driving record

Reliable transportation to and from our warehouse

Work Monday thru Friday, 6:30 am- 3:30 pm

Willing to work some weekends if needed and some overtime

Experience with forklifts and warehouse equipment

Education and/or Experience

· High School Diploma / GED

· 1-2 years of experience

· Previous experience in the playground/recreation industry is a plus

· Gained skills in the use of pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and any other warehouse equipment

· Capability to safely and skillfully operate a forklift

· Inventory skills and excellent communication skills

· Physical stamina and dexterity vital for work involving lifting and moving heavy loads

Travel

Occasionally, transporting materials to or from a job site.

Computer Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Other Skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong organizational skills

· Self-starter, self-motivated

This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking throughout the warehouse. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment efficiently.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
