What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extrusion Operator (Mono) Night Shift - Sprinturf position at Sprinturf LLC?
Shift: Night Shift – 6:00pm to 6:00am
Summary
The Extrusion Operator (Mono) will perform duties in the extrusion department that focuses on the operation of extruders to produce quality products in a safe manner that is in accordance with the Sprinturf standards. The Lead Operator will work closely with the Shift Supervisor to build a team focusing on Safety, Quality, and Production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities for this position are listed below. They include but are not limited to the following.

- Working with the Lead Operator to hold standards such as
- Quality standards.
- Run time efficiency.
- Reduction of waste.
- Reduction of change over time.
- New Operator Training.
- Operator Accountability.
- Perform checks on lines in operation during shift to ensure setting and reading are correct.
- Identify the equipment and components of the extrusion line.
- Identify e-stops and when to use them.
- Ability to perform proper shutdown procedure.
- Ability to understand the downstream equipment and the proper operation of the equipment.
- Understand the proper operation of the dosing system.
- Keep area and line free of any debris and/or waste.
- Identify material needed for the line and where it is staged.
- Issue and return material to line using NetSuite system.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues with machine and/or material.
- Alarms
- Off quality material.
- Follows all safety regulations
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor and Lead Operator
