Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. This role combines excellent customer service with food handling and sales skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and the ability to manage time effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently using a cash register or POS system.
• Ensure food safety and proper handling of food items according to health regulations.
• Assist in the kitchen as needed, including food preparation and maintaining cleanliness.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers regarding menu items and specials.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dining and kitchen spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or a grocery store environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Culinary skills or experience in a kitchen setting are advantageous but not required.
