We are looking for hardworking and dependable people to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this position will include entering orders, pulling orders, determining customers’ needs, and answering questions.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Communicate effectively and professionally with all customers.
· Demonstrate the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
· Gain a knowledge of the products we sell: irrigation system components, landscape lighting, hardscape products, water feature products, drainage products, etc.
· Assist residential customers and contractors with orders and questions.
· Show up on time and ready to work.
· Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to, standing, walking, bending, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Willingness and ability to learn our computer system.
· This is a fast-paced position. Must be self-motivated and possess a strong sense of urgency to get the job done.
· Make sure paperwork is filled out completely and accurately.
· Pull orders quickly and accurately.
· Ability and enthusiasm to build rapport with customers.
· Adhere to the company dress code as it relates to this position.
· Continually strive to learn more about products and operational procedures to better fulfill all duties.
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Be willing to help in any other area as instructed by your Supervisor.
· Operate company vehicles in a way that demonstrates professionalism and courtesy to other drivers on the road.
· Willing to learn how to safely and effectively operate a forklift.
· Help keep building and premises clean and organized.
· Attend job and product training as required.
· Warehouse work such as pulling transfers, checking in incoming freight, and assisting with various other duties within the warehouse.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Experience:
Sales, customer service, or landscaping experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right candidate.
