Springwoods Behavioral Health, an 80-bed behavioral health facility located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, provides acute inpatient treatment for adolescent, adult, and specialty program for women. The hospital also offers outpatient treatment. Our six-acre campus is adjacent to a 123-acre Audubon Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary, which is held in perpetuity and cannot be developed from its natural state. This provides Springwoods with a peaceful setting for those embarked on the road to recovery.

We provide a full continuum of mental health care, both inpatient and outpatient, for those dealing with psychiatric emergencies ages twelve and up. Set within a structured environment, Springwoods Behavioral Health offers acute and subacute inpatient behavioral health services to adolescents.
As a Inpatient Teacher you will provide direct instruction and other educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents. The Inpatient Teacher maintains an orderly and disciplined structure in the hospital classroom. Your guidance and teaching will assist them in maintaining or improving their academic performance levels or standing and help them to make a smooth post-discharge transition into their home school setting or appropriate educational setting. The Inpatient Teacher is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs to all assigned, hospitalized children and adolescents. The Inpatient Teacher understands basic human growth and developmental milestones and delivers appropriate interventions specific to the age and population served. The Teacher will be responsible for applying trauma-informed educational practices and is accountalbe for maintaing a safe, respedtful, and emotionally supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:
