Job Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and deliver specially designed instruction tailored to student goals and needs
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
- Provide a variety of learning materials for use in instruction and in educational activities
- Observe and evaluate students' performance and development
- Provide ongoing progress monitoring of students
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development; be responsible for a caseload of students and their IEPs and various other plans/supports, ensuring plans are followed with fidelty
- Manage student academic and behavior needs within the classroom
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administration, and other support staff in order to support students
- Engage in and provide effective and consistent communication with students, families, and staff
Job Qualifications:
- K-8 Strat I: Mild/Moderate Endorsement, or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication/collaboration skills
- Strong orgamization skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility, coachability, responsiveness
