Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or food service within the hospitality industry, especially in fine dining, nightclubs or banquet settings
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math accuracy
