POSITION: SECRETARY 1 (Full-time/12-month position)
LOCATION: SPRINGTON LAKE MIDDLE SCHOOL
EFFECTIVE DATE: 2025/2026 SCHOOL YEAR
COMPENSATION: PER ESPA AGREEMENT
JOB SUMMARY: Provide clerical assistance for the main office. Maintain strict confidentiality with respect to information concerning students, personnel and other administrative matters affecting the district.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; one to two years secretarial experience; some knowledge of office practices and procedures; keyboarding at 40-50 wpm; knowledge and familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet and database operations in a Windows environment; ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; excellent human relations skills. Experience with marketing, community liaison work, and/or event planning preferred.
