Activities Assistant
Springside is a top-rated, state-of-the-art facility that recently underwent a complete renovation. We are situated in the heart of the beautiful Berkshires. Our experienced staffs of compassionate caregivers, therapists, clinical experts and dietary personnel are focused on one goal: providing an exceptional experience for our residents and patients. Seeking energetic, hard-working self-starter to develop and implement activities for seniors. Must be available for weekend and holiday rotation. Must be creative, flexible and have a fun, outgoing personality.
Requirements for Activities Assistant:
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Hours are part-time, 3p-7p
Job Duties for Activities Assistant:
- Assist in planning and implementation of organized program for recreation
- Assist in providing a planned resident-specific, goal-directed recreation program
- Transport residents to and from recreation program
- Maintain composure in emergency situations
- Assure confidentiality of all residents
