Description
Job Purpose
$15.00 per hour
Shift: First shift: 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m, Monday to Friday.
Assemble a variety of curtain styles according to established quality and timeliness standards.
Job Responsibilities
Assemble curtains according to quality and timeliness standards.
May perform some pre-assembly responsibilities.
Cut fabric and/or rod or sew fabric or pick up components.
Handle fabric by cutting it to length and/or drilling holes, or weigh fabric and enter data into a computer.
Pick up curtain from the rack/table/cart according to established prioritization standards.
Perform initial curtain assembly to be able to hang it, inspect it, and adjust it.
Hang the curtain and perform initial inspection to ensure that the components/tools are in place, and that the motor and clutch are properly adjusted (if applicable).
Make any necessary adjustments and inspect again.
Carry out the entire assembly process including any decoration and/or tools.
Test the curtain with visual, quality, and functionality inspection (to ensure it hangs straight, works correctly, and is not damaged).
Interact with quality specialists to ensure standards are met.
Prepare the curtain for packaging and shipping, placing it in plastic and/or on a cart for packing.
Complete paperwork/documentation related to curtain assembly.
Work with Engineering to test new products/designs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow established procedures to keep the work area clean and well-organized.
Perform minor maintenance on equipment and tools.
Interact with maintenance personnel regarding equipment and tool repairs and the development of new ones.
Follow established safety policies and procedures.
Attend safety meetings.
Attend meetings/talks to promote open communication.

Responsabilidades del Puesto
- Ensamblar cortinas acorde las normas de calidad y oportunidad.
- Puede desempenar unas responsabilidades de pre-ensamble
- Cortar tela y/o baranda oCoser tela oCoger componentes
- Manipular tela al cortarla al largo y/o taladrar huecos. oPesar tela e ingresar datos en una computadora.
- Coger cortina del raque/mesa/carro acorde las normas establecidas de priorizacion
- Hacer ensamble inicial de la Cortina para poder colgarla, inspeccionarla y ajustarla.
- Colgar la cortina y hacer inspeccion inicial que los componentes/herramienta se caban, el motor y cloche esten bien ajustados (si aplica)
- Hacer cualquier ajuste necesario y inspeccionar de nuevo.
- Realizar el proceso entero de ensamble inclusive cualquier adorno y/o herramienta
- Probar la cortina inspeccion visual, de calidad y funcion (que cuelgue recta, funcione bien, no lleve daos, etc.)
- Interaccionar con especialistas de calidad para asegurarse de que se satisfagan las normas
- Preparar la cortina para empaque y envio ponerla en plastic y/o en carro para empaque.
- Realizar papaleo/documentacion relacionado con el ensamble de cortinas.
- Trabajar con Ingenieria para probar productos/disenos nuevos. Mantener ambiente de trabajo limpio y seguro
- Seguir los procedimientos establecidos para mantener el ambiente de trabajo en condiciones limpias y bien ordenadas
- Hacer mantenimiento menor el equipos y herramientas. Interaccionar con el personal de mantenimiento acerca de arreglos de equipos y herramientas y desarrollo de nuevos.
- Seguir politicas y procedimientos de seguridad establecidos. Asistir a reuniones de seguirdad.
- Asistir a reuniones/platicas para promover la comunicacion abierta
