Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests during breakfast service. This position involves preparing and presenting food items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
HOURS ARE 6:30am - 1:30PM
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet or dining area with food items and beverages.
- Ensure all food items are presented attractively and are compliant with food safety standards.
- Monitor food levels throughout service and replenish as necessary to ensure freshness.
- Assist guests with their needs, including answering questions about menu items and dietary restrictions.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when required, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of food items to guests.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Skills
- Strong cash handling skills to manage transactions effectively.
- Experience in catering or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to assist as a dietary aide when needed, accommodating special dietary requests.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and presentation skills to enhance guest experience.
- Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to provide help and assistance to guests effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
