**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Springhill Suites Millbrook - RAM Hotels. As a key member of our maintenance staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee property maintenance of grounds, building facilities, and guest rooms
- Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of all common areas
- Conduct preventive maintenance and small repairs
- Participate in special projects and communicate larger maintenance needs to management
- Operate service ticket system
- Maintain clean, organized maintenance workshop and storerooms
- Perform other duties as assigned by Property Management
Requirements:
- 3 years' experience in janitorial, general maintenance, or engineering-related field
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, PTAC, and gas furnaces
- Experience with pool and spa operations, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems
- Ability to work well under limited supervision and with others
- Strong work ethic and emotional intelligence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry, and database management systems
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, lift, and carry 50 pounds
- Capacity to stand for long periods and walk three flights of stairs
