Responsibilities
- Manage parking areas efficiently, guiding guests to available spots and ensuring smooth traffic flow during events or busy periods
- Monitor the premises vigilantly using CCTV systems and perform regular patrols to uphold safety standards
- Enforce security protocols by checking credentials, inspecting vehicles, and controlling access points for visitors, staff, and contractors
- Assist guests with directions, information, and support to foster a friendly and hospitable environment
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by coordinating with emergency services when necessary, including administering first aid or CPR if required
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems for parking fees or event-related sales
- Uphold safety procedures during outdoor work, manual handling tasks, and heavy lifting activities associated with event setup or equipment management
Skills
- Proven experience in events management and guest services within busy venues or outdoor settings
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, lifeguard training, and safety protocol adherence are highly desirable
- Experience working with children or in hospitality environments enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and processing cash transactions efficiently
- Familiarity with retail sales, POS systems, and cash handling procedures ensures smooth financial operations
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking and providing clear instructions in high-pressure situations
- Previous resort, theater, or outdoor event venue experience is a plus for understanding the unique demands of these environments
